The Huawei P9 is an Android-powered smartphone released in 2016. It has a 5.2-inch IPS NEO LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, giving you a sharp and vibrant image.
The P9 is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 955 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, backed up by 3GB/4GB of RAM and a generous 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. In addition, the phone has a 3000mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support, giving you enough juice for your daily needs.
Regarding photography, the P9 has two 12MP Leica cameras with dual-tone LED flashes. The rear camera features laser autofocus and can record videos in 4K resolution at 30fps, making it an excellent choice for photography enthusiasts. The front-facing 8MP camera is perfect for selfie lovers as well.
The Huawei P9 also offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot and Bluetooth 4.2 with A2DP and LE support. The phone also supports NFC for easy file sharing between compatible devices. It runs on Android 6 Marshmallow out of the box with Huawei’s Emotion UI 4.1 on top of it.
The phone is available in three colours – Mystic Silver, Titanium Gray and Prestige Gold. The Huawei P9 retails for around $550 and is a great choice for anyone looking for a mid-range device with excellent camera capabilities.
